Instructions for American Servicemen in Britain

yanksteateapot

WW2 Yanks land in Radcliffe for English lessons and a comic romp

On Wednesday 16 November 2016  at Grange Hall, Radcliffe prepares itself for a Yankee landing in rural England, and an evening of comic misunderstandings on British life and culture.

Theatre at its laughing best launches the RadVentures Autumn/Winter programme of professionals on tour entertainments.

Everything from boiling food to death to accents and obsessive tea drinking confuse the Yankees.  The crack team of English officers charged with tutoring them in Brit survival skills results in total chaos. It’s a classic case of American troops  overpaid, oversexed and over here pitted against the best of British stiff upper lip stupidity.
You can be sure that a mixed age audience of 11+ will love this daft wartime romp and feel part of it from the very start.

Event:  ‘Instructions for American Servicemen in Britain’ by Fol Espoir Theatre Company
